Two Research Officers(Scientific Geophysics) in Central Water & Power Research Station, Khadakwasla, Pune, Ministry of Water Resources.
The posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with disability of Hearing Impairment viz. PD(Partially Deaf) or Orthopaedically Handicapped / Locomotor disability / Cerebral Palsy viz. OA(One Arm) / OL(One Leg) affected.
Qualifications :
Essential : Educational : Master’s Degree in Geophysics from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable : i) Doctorate degree in Geophysics from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Research experience in the field of Geophysics.
Duties : Basic and applied research in the application of shallow geophysical methods. Carry out field and laboratory tests and undertake geophysical investigations of projects anywhere in India. Prepare project and technical reports and draft standards. HQ : Normally at Khadakwasla near Pune, but liable to serve anywhere in India.
Application Fee: Fee Rs.50 payable in form of Central Rectt Fee Stamps only to be affixed on application form. No fee for SC/ ST/ Physically handicapped/ women candidates for any community.
